Hetzner storage box and BorgBase seem good for that too. Then pick Preferences from Arq’s menu, Destinations tab, and click the button to add your OneDrive or SharePoint account. (Alternatively, pick 'Preferences' from Arq's menu, Destinations tab, and click the + button to add your destination. Provide the Access key ID, Secret Key, and storage endpoint URL, generated in IDrive ® e2. Adding Your Backup Destination When you launch Arq for the first time, Arq asks you to configure your backup destination. Arq is our cloud backup app that automatically stores backups of your files. Select S3-compatible server from the list. Also good target for Borg at same price but with 100GB minimum yearly commitment. Office 365 accounts come with 1 TB of storage, so you can use it with Arq to store backups of all your files. If you need large space, gives you zfs target with $0.015/GB but with 4TB minimum commitment. One cannot create one file selection for backups and then back this selection up to. Ubuntu gets zfs running easily by simply installing zfsutils-linux package. (2) Arq is very destination centric, rather than source centric. You can run a 1GB memory instance and plug HDD (far cheaper) based block storage (such as on Vultr or AWS) for cheap zfs remote target. ![]() ![]() I've come to the conclusion to use Borg and zfs as backup solutions (better to run multiple reliable independent implementations), latter being quite fast by knowing what got changed on each incremental backups as a file system itself unlike any other utilities that need to scan the entire datasets to figure out what got changed since last run. This capacity can be expanded in 1TB increments for the same fee for each 1TB you. They've eaten my RAM quite heavily, it caused the machine to freeze up by exhausting the RAM on not that huge data sets and I've stopped using them a year or so ago. As an alternative, Arq has its own solution, Arq Cloud Backup, that they will see you for 5.99 per month for 1TB. I've looked around quite a bit too but did you actually use restic and duplicacy?
